Krka Waterfalls

Krka National Park is a name that will surely be heard by anyone who has had anything to do with Croatia in their life. The entire park covers over 109 square kilometers, on the surface of which nature proves the strength of its power, showing visitors lush green nature and beautiful fairy-tale waterfalls.

The areas along the Krka River are rich in cultural and historical monuments. We can find here, among others, the remains of the Roman Scardona waterworks, the remains of medieval camps and Croatian fortresses, as well as a multitude of religious buildings.

Trip Plan

As a standard, the trip starts at ACI Marina Jezera, where we meet at a pre-arranged place, then we start the adventure with a gentle ride to Prvić Luka, to listen to the story of the parachute creator Faust Vrančic, who was born in this small Croatian village, over morning coffee. The next step is the transfer to the vicinity of the Krka National Park. It is quite a distance, so first we go to the vicinity of the Fortress of St. Nicholas and from the moment we enter the bay of Šibenik, we slow down to admire the beautiful panorama of the city.

Along the way, we pass substantial clam and oyster farms, so you can also buy them, and then, in the circumstances of beautiful nature, taste sea delicacies. It is also a great idea to swim in the Krka River just before entering the National Park. The next stop is in Skradin.

There is a longer break here for visiting the park and lunch. In the afternoon we start our way back. Another longer transfer towards the home port in Jezera. Finally, enjoy a drink in Tribunja or a swim in the bay next to Jezera.

Remember, however, that the plan of each trip may change due to weather conditions or the individual will of customers.
